Transit and Re-Export Documents from the UAE to the GCC
The documents and information needed for transit and re-export shipments from the UAE to Oman, Saudi Arabia and the GCC, the current transit period, and how we handle the declarations.
What it is
Transit and re-export cargo passes through the UAE without being sold here, so the paperwork has to match from arrival to exit. We handle the customs declarations through our group companies and check your documents before anything is filed.

How it works
Frequently asked questions
How long can transit goods stay in Dubai?
Under Dubai Customs Notice 05/2026, transit goods have up to 90 days to reach the exit point instead of 30, as a temporary measure. More time needs Dubai Customs approval. We confirm the current rule before you book.
Do I need the original Bill of Entry for a re-export?
If the goods were imported into the UAE before, the import declaration or Bill of Entry is normally needed to link the re-export to the import.
Who files the declarations?
We handle them through our group companies, after checking your documents.
